ronnie vs. ali carter
does anyone agree that carter should do the most honourable thing and retire from the final? he simply has no chance against ronnie! just look at what happened to hendry (despite his long experience)!

Ronnie is stronger than Carter. But he made much work to get till the final! So I think he desrves to play the final even if he didn't show somehting interesting during all final match!

you know, after the final Carter said that he wanted to win it very much... and he was very disappointed from his game at the final. When you watch it from here, O'Sullivan is so good, Carter can't beat him... but for the player.. it's a chance.. noone really knows how it will be. And 18-8 isn't bad result.
Also, they play not only to win, but people watch them play... So, the whole thing is interesting :)) Weak or not, everyone's got the chance. THough this time I think it was Ronnie's! :)

I don't deny Carter's value. He is a hard worker and maybe someday he will gain enough experience to win the trophy. But it was clear from the very beginning that Ronnie was the winner. The way he won over Hendry! :D
Carter had hard games and managed to the final. But against Ronnie he had no chance at all. Ronnie is pure talent- and he is the best man for show.
It was such a difference between their maximum breaks! For Ronnie seemed like piece of cake, altough it was not at all easy!

agree :)) Ronnie and Carter - biig difference... still sometimes Ronnie has his downs :)) Though the way he played in this tournament wasn't like how he used to play earlier. He was much steadier and more determined to win I think.
I think he can win anything he likes, the main thing is, that he must want it :))
